He has a degree in Law (1994) and Economics (1996) at the University of Messina (Italy), and earned his Ph.D. in Public Administration at the University of Calabria, Rende (Cs) Italy, in 2005. Currently he is a professor of Budget and Business Organization at the Faculty of Economy, Department of Business Sciences, University of Calabria. Dr. Anil C Mathew obtained his M.Sc degree in Biostatistics(1988) from Christian Medical College, Vellore, University of Madras under the guidance of Prof.PSS Sundar Rao and PhD in Biostatistics from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore under the guidance of Prof.S Krishnamoorthy.. He started his career as Assistant Statistician in the “Rheumatic fever-Rheumatic heart disease control project’ of the Indian Council of Medical Research at All India Heart Foundation, New Delhi in 1988. and afterwards joined in PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore as Assistant Professor in 1989, as Associate Professor in 2003 and as Professor in 2008. He has been actively engaged in teaching and research in applied biostatistics for three decades which include teaching Biostatistics and Clinical epidemiology to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students; guide for MSc (Biostatistics) students; consultant for MD/ MS students; external examiner for PhD/MSc students and reviewer/member of editorial committee of various national / international journals include American Journal of Epidemiology and BMJ online. He was an invited participant in the INDO-US workshop series on Clinical Research organized by U S Embassy, New Delhi 2007-2009; statistical expert for preparing the course materials of the Applied Bio-statistics course of Indira Gandhi National Open University, Govt. of India in 2011; statistical expert of the Task force committee on Geriatric research, Indian Council of Medical Research in 2011; member of the Expert Award committee of International Biometric Society Indian Region in 2012; statistical expert for the INCLEN/ WHO Penta study in 2013; General Secretary of Indian Society for Medical Statistics(ISMS) 2014-16, International Biometric Society Indian Region Correspondent 2015-16 ;Visiting Professor Biostatistics and Epidemiology at Sultan Qaboos University, Sultanate of Oman in 2015, member of the Executive council and award committee ISMS 2017-19 and member of the Executive Council International Biometric Society Indian Region 2017-18 . In recognition of the eminence achieved by way of his outstanding contributions leading to the promotion of Statistics in Medicine, Dr. Anil C Mathew has been conferred on Fellowship in Medical Statistics (FSMS) of the Indian Society for Medical Statistics for the year 2017.
Biostatistics and Clinical epidemiology
Dr. Mukesh Verma is Chief of the Epidemiology and Genomics Research Program's (EGRP) Methods and Technologies Branch (MTB), and oversees its research portfolio and initiatives that focus on methods to address epidemiologic data collection, study design and analysis, and to modify technological approaches developed in the context of other research endeavors for use as biomarkers and methods to understand cancer susceptibility. He is responsible for stimulating research in implication of omics approaches to understand cancer etiology. He represents NCI in Common Fund Programs on (1) Epigenomics (https://commonfund.nih.gov/epigenomics), (2) Metabolomics (https://commonfund.nih.gov/metabolomics), and (3) Molecular Transducers of Physical Activity (https://commonfund.nih.gov/moleculartransducers); and (4) congressionally mandated program on Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcome (ECHO) ( https://www.nih.gov/echo ). Since joining the NCI, he sought to champion the visibility of and investment in cancer epigenetics research both within the Institute and across other federal and non-governmental agencies, and to raise public awareness about controlling cancer.

Dr Erik Matser obtained his PhD from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands and he is a clinical neuropsychologist. He worked as a clinician for 15 years in the Hospital for Special Surgery (New York, USA), the St Anna Hospital in Geldrop (the Netherlands) and the German Neuroscience Centre (Dubai, UAE). During that time, he was also asked to work with elite sports teams like Chelsea FC and Anderlecht Brussels to develop new ways of detecting / optimizing cognitive skills and laying the foundation of what we call talent nowadays. Momentarily he is director of the Centre for Sociotechnology and Neuropsychology (CSN) which has divisions in the Netherlands and the UAE. He has over 100 publications regarding cognition in the domains of brain injury, talent detection and talent optimization. Furthermore he has an interest how to connect talent to the right, stimulating working environment.
Professor Dr. Mohammad Hadi Dehghani (PhD) is a Full Professor at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), School of Public Health, Department of Environmental Health Engineering, Tehran, IRAN. His scientific research interests include the Environmental Health Science. He is the author of various research studies published at national and international journals, conference proceedings and Head of several research project at the TUMS. He has authored 8 books and more than 150 full papers published in peer- reviewed journals. He is an editorial board member and reviewer in many internal and international journals and is member of several international science committees around the world. He has supervisor and advisor PhD and MSc theses at the TUMS. He is currently also member of the Iranian Association of Environmental Health (IAEH) and member of the Institute for Environmental Research (IER) at the TUMS.

He has worked as associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry and a senior research scientist in the Scientific Laboratory (Alcohol and Drug-Related Problems Research Group) at the Grodno State Medical University (Belarus). He has published about 1000 papers in English and Russian language peer-reviewed journals and 30 monographs. He is a founding member of the International Society of Addiction Medicine (ISAM), presiding member of the International Academy of Sobriety (IAS), national representative for Belarus of World Suicidology Net and is an active member of National Association of Psychiatrists.
